Frequently Asked Questions
What is asked of me?
As an Ambassador, you'll participate in advocacy to stay active in the program and maintain your exclusive benefits. Advocacy can take many forms, posting on social media about how you use Semrush, sharing our latest research on your blog, hosting customer meetups, or providing feedback on our product through beta testing and research studies. Each act of advocacy keeps you active in the program and ensures you continue to enjoy all the perks that come with it.
Do I need a large following to become an Ambassador?
Nope! While a large following can be helpful, it's not a requirement. What matters most is your engagement, enthusiasm, and willingness to share your knowledge with the Semrush community. We value authenticity over audience size. Whether you have 10 or 50,000 followers, your voice matters.
What is the time commitment?
We know you're busy! Our goal is to make advocacy feel natural, fun, and rewarding. You can expect to participate roughly 1–2 times per quarter, depending on the ask. We'll provide guidance, ready-to-use prompts, and engaging challenges to make every opportunity feel effortless and meaningful.
What's in it for me?
A lot! As an Ambassador, you'll unlock networking opportunities with fellow industry leaders, access to paid opportunities, early participation in product research and feedback, and exclusive access to events and workshops. You'll also get the chance to collaborate closely with the Semrush team, build your personal brand, showcase your expertise, and grow your influence. And of course, win prizes each month and redeem points for swag and gift cards along the way!
